I saw this on one of my friends facebook walls...and it struck a cord with me. "you only need to be silent"....
um, doesn't the Lord know who I am??? I am not a silent one, if you know me at all. I am vocal. I can be loud. I love conversation. (with coffee and chocolate is even better!) Silentness only sends me into a downward spiral of depression. I thrive for life. I thrive for busyness. I thrive for more. But that's what gets me in trouble sometimes. You see, you get so busy with life, busyness, appointments, schedules, that you forget Him. You forget what His voice sounds like. You all of a sudden, one day when you have those 3 minutes of silence in the car, remember, O ya. Him. This life isn't about busyness, appointments, agendas. It's about Him. It's about making His truths known. It's about sharing the GOOD NEWS that any hole you have in your life, doesn't need to be filled with busyness, agendas or schedules. It can only be filled with Him for TRUE Peace and Joy. Him. I don't know about you, but I tend to operate in the sense that if I am feeling blue, lonely or "off", I add in "more stuff" when in reality, I only need to add in "Him".
Silence.
Reflection.
Quietness.
Him.

rising from the ashes...
is like basking in the storm...it's like shaved chocolate on a waffle ice cream cone....it's like seeing a friend you haven't seen in forever...you get my point. Though, rising from the ashes and basking in the storm aren't necessarily enjoyable things while the others are. You see, the first two require you to surrender. Lay down. Give up-to be filled with peace. Whereas the last 2 are simple joys that come with life. My point being, God is always in control whether you are searching for the chocolate shavings or drowning in the storm, as long as you remember that HE is in control and will always be there with grace, mercy and faithfulness, then basking in the storm won't be all that hard. PeaceBeWithU couldn't have said it better today.
A personal relationship with Jesus may not change your circumstances......but it certainly changes your perspective of your circumstances! True peace comes when you recognize that God is in control and that He is holding you in the palm of His hand!

Question...
So, tell me this my fellow blog readers and peeps...how do you deal with life when you know someone intentionally doesn't like you. I have tried the take the higher road route, I have tried to ignore, I have tried to be-friend....I have basically fallen at their feet, always being the first one to start the conversation always being the first to reach out...and I'm so done! I know we are called to be Christ like and that is why I struggle with it so much. But it like literally eats at me so much that my chest hurts and I am nauseous! I don't like the thought of someone not liking me! Or at least those of you that don't like me are really good at faking it when I'm around instead of being flat out rude! Thanks! It literally sends me into a tizzy and a I-want-to-be-dropped-off-in-a-tribe-in-the-middle-of-Africa-and-not-have-to-deal-with-people-like-this-cause-Christ-calls-us-to-love-the-children-anyway-I'm-so-outta-here-type-of-mood! I'm adapting to Lincoln, I'm really am. But I don't adapt well to rude people. And I really Really REALLY miss my friends whose friends I could chill with and we could all have an amazing time together and converse and laugh, like adults! So, back to square one question...how do you deal?

Delight....
Jeremiah 9:23-24
Thus says the Lord:
“Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might,
Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
24 But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord.

Intsa...wat?!
I'm absolutely in LOVE with Insatgram!!!! The only thing I don't like is that unlike a camera, you have to take a photo upload it, etc..you can't just click away. It can be annoying esp if you are trying to take photo's of kids who tend to move...alot. Anyway, here's some of my recent Instagram work...a gram in an instant! Do you see a re-occurring theme? Yup, food, scenery and friends!

NEW Perspective!!!
ENOUGH TALK.
We are putting it into action.
Starting tomorrow, all the sugar in the house is gone and we will be on our trek to a healthy lifestyle.
I have started breaking out in a rash everytime I "exercise". It feels like the toxins and chemicals in my body are trying to break free. I'm fed up. My bestie is fed up, so we are going to use this God given time to create another amazing chapter in our lives together.
She is doing Fit4Life, and I basically am as well, but adding in PhysioLife Studios AMAZING Detox Cleanse first. (CHECK OUT physiolifestudios.com; tell them I sent you~the owner is a good friend and has worked with amazing people like Al Roker and Merideth Viera....)
So, it'll be great to blog about it. Keep checking in for delicious recipes, encouragement if you are on your own journey and the daily ups and downs of my journey! I'm excited about this, and I'm hoping that by bloggin' about it, you guys will help keep me MOTIVATED!!! Here are a couple motivational clips I "borrowed" from PhysioLife Studios~thanks Melissa!!
